French company Transverso agrees UK and Ireland sole agency agreement with FW Lighting.
Transverso is based in Marseille, France. Owner and creator (Laurent le bourhis) designs suspended feature lighting influenced by Japanese origami and the techniques involved in paper folding.
Laurent’s designs cleverly mix LED light sources with materials such as white muslin paper, pleated leaves of vegetal paper, polycarbonate in various forms, from translucent and sanded, to polycarbonates with a dichroic or mirrored film. Stainless steel elements also feature heavily in the collection.
The collection also meets current fire protection ratings B s1 d0 (M1) and UL 94 – V2 and EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009, making them suitable for use in commercial applications such as public areas.
