Gold Ball by Bohème Design is a pendant lamp made of brass using a thousand-year-old technique called lost wax casting. The detail achievable using this technique gives realism to the casted parts, in this case the branches, which emanate from a central, highly polished brass ball.
The detail achieved is as near to perfection as one can get, but this is only made possible because of the skill and experience gained over many years by Bohèmes talented, artisanal sculptors.
Lamp holders are fixed directly to the central ball and from here different arms grow to form concentric branches which creates interesting shadows when the light is illuminated. When not switched on the piece becomes a miniature sculpture will real, natural beauty.
The decorative finish is glitter gold, giving it a touch of distinction and luxury, however customised finishes are also available.
